Nobel Laureates Ahmed H. Zewail, Ph.D., and Roger Kornberg, Ph.D., will speak during a lecture sponsored by the Office of the President with support from the Office of the Vice President for Research. Zewail, the Linus Pauling chair and professor of chemistry and physics at the California Institute of Technology, received the 1999 Chemistry Nobel Laureate. His lecture is entitled Exploring, from Atoms to Medicine. Kornberg, professor of structural biology at Stanford University School of Medicine, received the 2006 Chemistry Nobel Laureate; his lecture is entitled Transcription Machinery.
