On behalf of the Wayne State University Alumni Association, I would like to encourage you to attend the Golden Jubilee Reunion from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, September 28. I know you will enjoy the opportunity to greet former classmates and make some new friends while becoming reacquainted with your alma mater. 

We have an exciting program planned for you. We will take you down memory lane and reminisce about life on campus in 1962. Then we’ll introduce you to some of today’s students who will share their university experiences 50 years later. 

There are many changes on the campus and in the surrounding areas that we would like to show you on our leisurely bus tour. We will take you to some of the newest additions to the campus, including TechTown, the largest business incubator in the world; the new A. Paul Schaap Chemistry Building and Lecture Hall; the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights; and show you the commercial and residential revitalization of Midtown. 

You also will be inducted into the Alumni Golden Circle and receive an exclusive pin and personal photograph to commemorate your anniversary. Add to that convenient, free parking close to the McGregor Memorial Conference Center and a delightful brunch to start the day. It will be a day for remembrances and a day to remember.
