The annual awards luncheon hosted by the Alumni Association will be held Friday, March 23, 2012, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the McGregor Memorial Conference Center. To be honored are Alumnus of the year, Ryan Hertz, and Citizen of the Year, Representative Rashida Tlaib.   Hertz was nominated by Joanne Sobeck, Associate Dean for Research and Director of the Center for Social Work Practice and Policy Research.  Tlaib was nominated by Phyllis Edwards, Wayne State University, School of Social Work, Alumni Association Board Member. The honorees were chosen by the Alumni Association Board of Directors, under the leadership of President Larmender Davis.=0D=0A=
